Course name- Poste Graduate Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering.
ELIGIBILITY:
B.Tech / B.E. or its equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electrical & Electronics(EEE) / PowerEngineering.
Those appearing in their final year examination can also apply. However, they must submittheir final degree/provisional degree certificateat the time of counseling.
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
Merit based on Common Entrance Test (CET) result followed by counseling at NPTI Nagpur. CET will be held on 28th June2015 (Sunday) at 8 cities;
Faridabad, Badarpur (New Delhi), Nagpur, Durgapur, Neyveli, Bangalore, Guwahati and Nangal.
AGE LIMIT:
There is no age limit for pursuing PGDC in TPPE TOTAL SEATS:570., Reservation of seats for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically challenged as per Govt. of India norms. 25% seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from Power Utilities.

Total No. of seats may vary as per requirement. COURSE FEE:
For non-sponsored candidatesRs.2,30,000 + Service Tax @14%(in 2 installments). For candidatessponsored from PSUs / Private UtilitiesRs.3,60,000/-+ Service Tax @14%to be paid in lump sum at the time of admission. There is no fee concession for any category of candidates.

* Other Countries:US$ 17,000+ Service Tax @14%In addition institute fees like Hostel, Internet, Caution deposit, transportation etc. is to be paid by the participants at the institute.

Hostel Facility is available at all the institutes and providedon first come first serve basis, subject to availability on extra charges.
