2). NSIC Technical Services Centre-HOWRAH-WEST BENGAL

NSIC Technical Services Centre, Howrah was established in 1961, by Govt. of India in collaboration with Govt. of Japan, with the aim to support the MSMEs and to generate the skilled manpower for the industries. This Centre is situated in industrial hub, Balitikuri, Howrah West Bengal, about 10 km from Howrah Railway station and 3 km from Dasnagar. The core activities of the centre are training & material testing . Training activities of the centre includes Internal Paid Up Training, Sponsored Training, Incubator Training & Project Work for Diploma & Graduate Engineering students.Centre is also engaged to conduct the Job oriented ITI/NCVT courses in 7 different Trades for the employ ability of the trainees in Govt. & Private sectors. The courses are Fitter ,Electrician ,Machinist ,Turner ,Welder , Surveyor & Draughtsman (Mech.). Centre is also running the Short Term Courses for CNC Programming on Milling & Turning & Refrigeration & Air conditioning Centre is engaged to conduct the different Skill Development Training Programmes sponsored by NBCFDC, NSFDC, Minority Commission , WBSCSTD&FC , DRDC & any other Govt. Agency / Private Institutions.
